ECP, or Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF), is a soluble extract derived from the nucleus and other parts of Chlorella. It accounts for 3 per cent to 5 per cent of the whole algae. It consists of several substances, including DNA and RNA, which are essential for cell regeneration. It also contains vitamins, amino acids, minerals and proteins which help to bind heavy metals and eliminate them via the stools.
It takes its name from the fact that its effect on the growth of healthy cells in the body is unrivalled. This thus helps to promote the regeneration of the body’s tissues. It is important to note that many of the body’s cells renew themselves at regular intervals: old skin cells regenerate within a few days, red blood cells regenerate every 90 to 120 days, and the complete regeneration of most body tissues takes place over the course of one year.
CGF (or ECP in French) is not found in any other plant; it is unique to Chlorella.
It has many properties, and here are just a few:
It helps boost the body’s resistance
It promotes healthy growth
It supports the entire immune system
It contains proteins that help bind heavy metals
It helps repair the body’s DNA and RNA, which have been damaged by free radicals, alcohol, smoking, chemicals, stress, lack of sleep and excessive exposure to the sun
It contributes to the health of gut bacteria.
CGF is not a substitute for Chlorella. However, when taken alongside Chlorella, their benefits work together synergistically.
